Certification in the Colorpoint Method is now available. The Colorpoint Method is the combination of Colorpuncture, from Peter Mandel, Osho Active Meditations, and Tuning In with counseling. Certification requires the completion of the three Colorpuncture home learning courses, having the official Esogetic and Perlux equipment from Peter Mandel, and attending the Practitioner Seminar in Boulder, CO with James St Clair. On this page you can find exactly how to register and complete this certification process. The courses can be purchased and completed up to Level 2, Level 3 advanced course requires the attendance of the seminar in August.
The two day (optional Fri eve) seminar in August is in Boulder, CO. Aug. 13 and 14 was a success. Some great learning happened around applying Colorpuncture and tuning into the client, how to diagnose and the wholistic understanding as it applies to this method. Learning took place on two levels, the knowledge and mastery of the treatments, and the physical movement based methods for release of toxic energies and integration of the treatments for optimal results, called the Active Meditations.
The next PRACTITIONER SEMINAR will be held August 10-12, in Boulder again.

What You Get with Certification:
The certification process in the Colorpoint Method focuses on Colorpuncture in the session environment. When you opt to become certified you receive:
The Colorpoint Method is the teaching distilled from years of work with thousands of people from different cultures using Colorpuncture and meditation in the environment of a healing arts, self exploration gathering. Two teachers led this experiment in human consciousness and health, Peter Mandel and Osho. Knowledge about the mind/body connection from both are combined into a method which can be focused on either the body level and physical pain and ailments, on the emotional level and energetic blocks, or the psychic level and spiritual issues and karmic issues.
Past life methods, dialoguing (from John Upledger), and hypnosis were combined with the latest energetic models of the human body to arrive at the deepest understanding of how an individual can understand and put into action their own purpose in life, thereby calling on their deepest sources of energy and integration. The findings of these experiments showed clearly that people who are living what they perceive as their purpose in life clearly, are less prone to all kinds of health issues, and more healthy in general. It is a teaching in empowerment, in how to educate people in the wisdom of their own bodies, in listening to themselves, and becoming more "Tuned In" to their health and well being based on their own individual truth.
Obviously this entire body of knowledge cannot be transmitted in one weekend. The purpose of the certification and Practitioner Seminar is to make sure a basic understanding of how Colorpuncture and active meditation and tuning in work together when practitioners experience the treatments and meditations on themselves in the presence of a teacher with 22 years experience. The Function Circles in particular need hands on experience to understand in this context. Once this understanding is in place, the practitioner has the basic tools for further work on their own. Advanced seminars are in planning now for further teaching about the mind/body understanding with Colorpuncture and meditation.
The teaching includes several therapeutic methods such as:
The Colorpoint Practitioner Seminar can be attended at any time after the completion of Course Level 1. You can also attend as many of the Seminars as you like, with a discount on the later ones.
Who is "Osho" and what does meditation have to do with it?
Osho was a spiritual teacher who specialized in working with Western psychology. He coined the phrase the "Psychology of the Buddhas" to sum up his teaching of what Man's source of intelligence is, and how to access higher consciousness. His meditation techniques, often called Active Meditations, integrate his understanding that modern Western Man cannot simply sit down and watch his breath, as Buddha's disciples did. Modern Man needs to begin with the body, movement, dance, energizing and relaxing the body first through movement (that's where the"Active" name comes in), and then inner silence and peace becomes available. His teaching is presented in a structure he also called "The science of the inner." Osho on Amazon.
Colorpuncture and Meditation
In the 1990s Peter Mandel traveled to India to teach for 5 years Colorpuncture in public seminars, as well as private therapist trainings. James St Clair attended all of those teaching opportunities with Mandel, as well as many of his seminars in Europe. The work in the Osho Academy of Healing Arts during that period was to combine Osho's meditations with Mandel's Colorpuncture treatments to find out if using the mind/body connection Mandel has mastered so well could be used to help people attempting to clean up psychic and energetic phenonmenon on their path to more consciousness. The answer was a resounding YES, and the methods taught here have been refined and expanded beyond those seminal years to yeild the Colorpoint Method.
In it's essence the method is based on Buddha's teaching of the body: "If you want to see what your body will look like in ten years, look at your thoughts now." This is the basis for any wholistic approach, the knowledge that the body and mind are connected and influence each other profoundly. Scientists and doctors such as Michael Talbot (The Holographic Universe) and Dr. James Oschman (Energy Medicine, the Scientific Basis, see below "Suggested Reading") have compiled research identifying and documenting the scientific principles upholding this simple statement of the mind/body connection. Working with this knowledge at its deepest level, the Colorpoint Method turns the statement around and asserts, "If you want to release the mind from it's patterns of limiting thought, start with the body's expression. " The Method utilizes the body in clearing blocks in the mind, and vice versa: when physical symptoms are opened and examined, the changes are anchored in the conscious mind. Essentially this is befriending and making an ally of the mind, which becomes then the most powerful healing agent available to the individual: his/her own mind and beliefs.
Author Tom Robbins comments on Osho eloquently:
"I recognize the emerald breeze when it rattles my shutters. And Osho is like a hard, sweet wind, circling the planet, blowing the beanies off of rabbis and popes, scattering the lies on the desks of the bureaucrats, stampeding the jackasses in the stables of the powerful, lifting the skirts of the pathologically prudish and tickling the spiritually dead back to life. "
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is meditation a practice to gain "peace of mind?"
The answer is yes and no. Meditation eventually leads to inner peace, as it is practiced. However to think of peace of mind is a contradiction in terms, actually. By its very nature the mind is constantly commenting and judging, about others, and one self. What you can discover through meditation is the knack of finding the distance between yourself and the commentary, so that the mind, with its constant circus of thoughts and emotions, no longer intrudes on your inherent state of silence.
2. Is meditation a mental discipline or effort to control or "tame" the mind?
Meditation is neither a mental effort nor an attempt to control the mind. Effort and control involve tension, and tension is contrary to the state of meditation, which happens in relaxation in a natural state. There is no need to control the mind, we only need to understand it and how it works. This understanding comes best from simple observing. Hence the term "The Witness" in the world of meditation as describing the part of the individual that is strengthened in the practice of meditation.
3. Is it a form of concentration or contemplating?
Concentrating is a narrowing of awareness. By contrast, meditation is all-inclusive, your consciousness is expanded. The meditator is simply aware of whatever is happening inside and outside of himself. This again leads to more and more relaxation.
4. Is meditation difficult to learn?
No. It is only a knack, something that with practice gets easier. In the beginning like riding a bike, one falls off ocassionally, but then gets back on and continues riding. It is similar with meditation. And it really helps to learn in the presence of people who have experience with it.

Dr. James Oschman, an authority on energy and complementary medicine, pulls together empirical scientific data which explains what happens scientifically when therapists use "energetic healing methods" such as Colorpuncture. It is a great help in understanding what is happening scientifically and energetically between client and practitioner, and how important this relationship is.

Ophthalmotropic Genetic Therapy textbook - OGT
Available in our store, click on the title.
©2005, Peter Mandel, 407 pages textbook. This book replaces the out of print Colorpuncture Compendium as the most up to date collection of Colorpuncture knowledge and treatments in an English textbook. It provides much background on the different ground states of endocrine, toxic and degeneration, as well as OGT fields on the forehead. Treatments call for basic colors, Soul Spirit and Greys. With full color graphics.
The OGT book is practice oriented, contains a wealth of images and is laid out logically and easy to understand. The included color plates illustrate the location of the therapy points for easy treatment. The practical application of the OGT is very simple. The OGT opens up new options to treat diseases directly and effectively through the track of the genetic information.
