Answers:

1) Why does Colorpoint Institute combine and teach Colorpuncture with active aerobic release methods called active meditations?
Answer - The Colorpoint approach in working with people on the subconscious level is to find the causes - if there are causes - of stress, tension, addiction, and disease which are born in times of personal development preceding cognitive thinking. For instance, the time in early childhood, in the birth event, in the prenatal time, and in the time bdfore conception. Some of the advanced Colorpuncture treatments reach into this level ofpersonal history and there are situations in the Kirlian photo EEA system for identifying these dynamics.

Since the conscious mind has no reference point for these pre-cognitive times, energetic release methods are needed to give a forum for expression to the emotional and energetic content of these experiences. Normal therapy is often ineffective. The Osho Kundalini Meditation and the advanced Osho Dynamic Meditation are offered as the basis for releasing energetic blocks stimulated by initiating the healing process with Colorpuncture.

2) What is meant by "energetic release method? and "energy blocks?"
Answer - John Upledger, a leading authority on cranio sacral therapy, and the author of several books on the subject including "Somato Emotional Release" and "Somato Emotional Release and Beyond" speaks of "energy cysts," which find places in the body to reside. Over time, if these energy cysts are not released, they can manifest as symptomatic pain and dysfunction in the body. (more on Upledger here http://www.upledger.com/)

3) What issues can be addressed with Colorpuncture?
Answer - Colorpuncture affects three levels of experience - the physical, emotional, and mental. Joint pain, stomach, lower back, knee, headache, many different areas of chronic pain can be affected with the color treatments. Generally, the endocrine (hormonal) system, and the lymphatic system are areas affected easily by the color treatments, which both have consequences in the immune system. Colorpuncture does not take the place of medical treatment. More on that here. Colorpuncture treatments will often find and bring up the energetic cause of discomfort, tension, and even of physical dysfunction in the body. People take on these energetic blocks for different reasons having to do with a combination usually of societal and family (primal) conditioning. Another cause of these energy blocks is any experience of pain and shock which overwhelms the person and is too intense to process in the moment. This enters into both the emotional and mental aspects of past experiences which can be part of understanding present pain and other symptoms in the body.

4) What is Colorpuncture?
Answer - Colorpuncture is a vibrational method of treating stress, tension, pain, dysfunction, and blocks in the physical, emotional, and mental levels. It uses colored light, which enters the body through the acupuncture points and Colorpuncture regions and travels to the systems in the body where it is needed to effect vibrational changes on a cellular level. Fritz Popp's research has proven that many body stasis functions are governed by photon (light particle) communication between the cells. (More on Fritz Popp's research here) Colorpuncture also includes brain wave therapy, sound therapy, and crystal therapy. It's basis for monitoring and diagnosing the energetic source of pain and tension is the Kirlian photography EEA.

5) Is anything punctured, as in acupuncture?
Answer - No, nothing enters the body except color and light.

6) Where can I experience a session of Colorpuncture?
Answer - A list of practitioners in the US is here. Colorpoint Institute is part of a therapeutic network located in Boulder, CO.

7) Can I learn how to do Colorpuncture on myself?
Answer - Yes. A basic course is sold from Colorpoint Institute teaching the basic treatments needed to begin supporting the physical and mental health in a wholistic way for the individual. Medical professionals and Health practitioners can also purchase the advanced levels 2 and 3 which is in workbook and video DVD form, by November 2006. Details of the Colorpoint Courses are here.

8) Is there any danger in using Colorpuncture?
Answer - There is no danger in using Colorpuncture. Color and light treatments do not create or put into the body anything which is harmful. They may stimulate energy which is causing tension, stress and pain to be released. For that there are active release methods also offered with Colorpuncture to release the "energy blocks" which may be causing stress in the physical and mental bodies.

9) How does color and light on the skin affect the body and emotions?
Answer - For many centuries the Chinese have used the knowledge of "reflexive zones" located on the skin to energetically treat various parts of the body. Their system is called acupuncture. Foot Reflexology is based on this principle of treating the body through reflexive zones also. In Colorpuncture also, many of the treatments utilize reflexive zones on the skin, introducing light frequencies of color which travel to the parts of the body on the meridians used, or in the areas affected by the reflexive zones. Laboratory research has actually measured light being emitted from one point on a meridian which is channeling light introduced into a different point on the same meridian. Fritz Popp's research revealed that the cells of the body are initiating processes with light communication, and can be affected also by light which is introduced through the skin.
